Related to the popular Leighton Green Leyland Cypress but more aromatic. The Murray Cypress is known for having very strong limbs to hang heavy ornaments on and for being a darker forest green in color. These are very popular trees at Choose-and-Cut farms throughout the Southeast.

Becoming the “tree of choice” for choose-and-cut farms in the Southeast, the Leyland Cypress fills in very well and the limbs are comparable to those of the popular Fraser Fir for holding heavier ornaments. The color of these trees is a natural dark green to even blueish-green. Unlike the Fraser Fir, however, the Leyland Cypress scale-like needles are flattened on evergreen sprays that are pointy at the tip (but notably soft) and therefore don’t shed all the little needles typical of fir species.

Known for its conical, broadly pyramidal shape and its “citrus-like” aroma the Carolina Sapphire is a unique option that is a little less traditional. These trees are very full and the limbs are strong. Silvery blue/teal coloration along with fragrant aroma really make these trees special. These trees are very difficult to propagate so we will always have a limited number available. Get them while you can!

In the cedar family native to the Pacific Northwest the Thuja “Green Giant” Arborvitae is known for its true cedar aroma; especially when its leaves are squeezed/crushed between your fingers. Green Giants have dark green scale-like leaves that fill in thick on graceful, sturdy branches. Pyramidal in shape and aromatic make this tree special.

Premium fresh cut Fraser Fir

We bring down from the mountains only premium Fraser firs cut the week of Thanksgiving for freshness.

Norway Spruce is native to Europe but found all over USA. Its dense branch pattern make it excellent for windbreaks or for just using as a single specimen landscape tree. Unlike Colorado Blue Spruce, the Norway Spruce does well in the humid Piedmont of North and South Carolina. After the holidays take it out plant it and let it help appreciate your property!
